Monterey County has issued a stay-at-home order that takes effect Sunday, December 13 at 10 p.m. through Monday, January 11 at 6 a.m. to try to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The restrictions announced do not include the provision of dental care and other essential health care services. County residents are once again urged to remain at home except for essential activities. Leaving your home to see your physician or dental health care provider (dental hygienist included) is deemed an essential activity. Please call should you have questions.
For compete details, review the State of California’s COVID-19 restrictions and read the county’s order.
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to you and our employee’s health and safety.
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our practice has followed recommended guidelines from our government and public health officials and remained open only for urgent or essential dental care. We are closely monitoring the situation and anticipate gradually expanding our office presence starting Monday, June 1st. Hygiene and periodontal maintenance appointments will also begin Monday, June 1st.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Our office follows the infection control recommendations from the American Dental Association, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. We are committed to ensuring that our infection control procedures are current and effective.
We are now using an Air-Assisted electrostatic sprayer (fogger) that will enable us to disinfect our facility 100% naturally.
You may see some new processes when it is time for your next appointment. Please be assured that we have made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at Curtis E. Jansen, DDS Phone Number 831-656-9394 or fill out our appointment request form.
Most of all, thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back to our office.
